Joy Star's Story

Creating art is a constant journey of self discovery. For me, that journey has lead me to places I never expected to be and into situations I never thought I would get out of. I spent years trying not to be an artist, only to find that I had no choice.

I now happily find myself living in a tiny studio in the middle of the Vermont woods with nothing standing between me and the paints, dyes, fabric, leather, yarn, and other materials that call for me. I have the absolute pleasure of constantly getting to try new things and create beauty.
